These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BrowseWise (the "Service"), including the website at getbrowsewise.com and the BrowseWise Chrome extension. By creating an account or installing the extension, you agree to these Terms.
BrowseWise provides a Chrome browser extension that filters web content based on domain block lists. The Service is intended for use by adults (18+) to help manage what content is accessible on shared family devices. It is not a substitute for comprehensive parental supervision.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at hello@getbrowsewise.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

Paid subscriptions (Pro and Family) are billed annually and processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase. Prices are listed in USD. By purchasing a paid plan, you authorize Lemon Squeezy to charge your payment method on the schedule you select.
Subscription renewals occur automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through your Lemon Squeezy customer portal.
If BrowseWise doesn't work for your family within 30 days of your first paid purchase, email us at hello@getbrowsewise.com and we will issue a full refund. After 30 days, refunds are issued at our discretion.
The discount code HOMESCHOOL provides 20% off any paid plan on the honor system. We do not require verification. Abuse of this code (e.g. by non-homeschool commercial entities applying it repeatedly) may result in account termination.
BrowseWise blocks domains from curated block lists (78,000+ domains). No filter is perfect. New harmful sites appear daily, and some may not yet be on the lists. BrowseWise is a meaningful layer of protection — not a guarantee that all harmful content will be blocked. We recommend using it alongside other parental controls appropriate to your family's situation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BrowseWise and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any failure to block content. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund any unused portion of a paid subscription on a pro-rata basis.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
